Plot Summary:

A young woman attempts to play matchmaker in a small English town. Desiring to see her friend, Harriet Smith married off to the Reverend Elton, the novice cupid soon runs into complications. Confusion mounts as love’s arrows strike those who each love someone else. Before long, Emma doesn’t know who is destined for whom, until she finally realizes the one person whom she truly loves most of all. But has this matchmaker shot one too many arrows, leaving no hope of true romance for herself?

Rebecca Roy received her degree in Theater from Indiana Wesleyan where she graduated in 2014. She enjoys teaching and directing for various groups throughout Central Indiana and is honored to serve as Executive Director for The Attic Theatre. Other productions she has directed for this company include Julius Caesar, Annie and Macbeth. In addition to filling the role as director, Rebecca has played significant roles on stage including Margaret Lord in The Philadelphia Story, and more recently Juror # 11 in Twelve Angry Women.

Anna Mayhill has been involved with The Attic Theatre for about three years. This is her first time as a co-director, but she is no stranger to being behind the scenes. She was assistant director for The Jungle Book and then stepped into that role again for The Music Man last summer. Anna also loves being on the stage. Some of her favorite roles include Rebecca Gibbs in Our Town and Grace Bradley in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
